For all those animal lovers

I wanted to share with you the site where I buy my dogs heartworm and flea medicine. It is by far the cheapest site I have found on the internet yet. I use Vidals Pets it does come from over seas but I have never had a problem with shipping. Actually it has always come earlier than expected. The charges out of my account are always accurate and never been over charged.
I buy my dogs the Nuheart heartworm preventative (my vet has said it was fine) for just $12.95 and K9 Advantix for just $27.98 for a 3 month supply. Shipping is not outrageous either, I believe $5.95 or so.
Please though if you know of a cheaper site, share with us. I'm always up for saving money and keeping my dogs healthy at the same time.

Can't wait!

Ok so I'm really bad at remembering to go and buy the Sunday paper so I decided just to subscribe to it. So now I'm so excited to really get started with this. Between coupons, Walgreens RR, and CVS ECB's I'm really hoping to save some good money. I'm trying to learn to budget my money really well and well cheap and free stuff is the best way to do it right? So here's to starting with the Walgreens and CVS this week!

Verdicts out....

Ok so I went and did my grocery shopping tonight, not that I wanted to after the long day I just had at work, but I did. So here's how I did:
Went to WalMart first and got my staple items, I spent a total of $39.10 with only a savings of $3...but that $3 was off 1 item! I got a 90 load count of Snuggle fabric softner for $3.98! I had a $3 off coupon I clipped out of the paper last week.
Krogers I did rather well for my first shot. My total before savings was 112.02.....after all savings I spent $79.06, that's 31%. Not to bad for my first time. I got a total of 7 nights worth of meals, breakfast, lunch for all, and some snacks. That also included my soda, which was 10 for 10....love those deals. I saved a lot on the meat...they had some wonderful sales. I was going to take a picture of all I got but my anxious daughter got in the house and started putting it all away before I got in the house (not complaining).
Next time will be better and I'll give a breakdown of everything I got.

Tomorrow is first day of saving...

Tomorrow I will be grocery shopping so it's going to be my first day of my new savings plan. I'm going to use as many coupons as I can, some of which I've clipped and some I've loaded onto my Kroger card. Heather was kind enough to share 2 fantastic sites that I can load coupons right onto my Kroger card and it will automatically be deducted at check out. Kroger coupon site #1 and Kroger coupon site #2. There are other store member cards that these work on so check and see if yours is listed.
I will post my savings tomorrow when I get home from shopping, and hopefully it will be decent for my first shot. I will be shopping for 7 days worth of groceries. There are 3 of us in this house, however my husband and daughter easily eat for 2 each.
